Meet Anastasia, Speech Pathologist in City Beach

I'm the speech pathologist behind City Beach Speech, bringing therapy to children at home, at school and at daycare across Perth's western suburbs.

About me

I'm Anastasia Trajcevska, a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and member of Speech Pathology Australia. I studied at Curtin University, graduating in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology) with Honours in paediatric feeding disorders.

Since then, I've worked across paediatric private practice and aged care, supporting a wide range of communication needs. City Beach Speech now focuses on children and their families, from toddlers through to teenagers up to 16.

What "Certified Practising" means for your child

Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) is a credential from Speech Pathology Australia, the national body for the profession. To hold it, a speech pathologist must meet the association's professional standards and complete ongoing professional development every year.

For parents, it's a simple way to know your child is seeing a qualified clinician who keeps their skills current.

How I work with children and families

Therapy should be something your child enjoys. I keep sessions engaging and family-centred, and build them around your child's strengths and interests, so each visit is a positive experience that builds confidence.

Parents play a big part too. I share practical strategies and simple activities you can use during everyday routines like playtime, mealtimes and story time. Every child gets their own speech therapy book, where I add home practice tasks so everything is kept in one place.

With your permission, I'm also happy to work with your child's teacher, and you'll be copied in on any updates.

Speech therapy at home, school or daycare

Every session happens where your child is already comfortable. There are no travel fees, no waitlist and no waiting room, just therapy that fits around family life and the school day.

Why I started City Beach Speech

After working across different areas of speech pathology, I started City Beach Speech because I wanted to create a practice that reflected the way I believe therapy should feel: personalised, practical and centred around each child and family.

I chose to start as a mobile practice so I could provide therapy in the places where children naturally learn, while offering families a more flexible and individual experience. City Beach Speech is my way of creating a personal practice where I can build genuine relationships with families and make therapy a positive part of everyday life.
