Mobile Speech Therapist in Perth's Western Suburbs

Speech therapy for children at home, at school or at daycare, with no waitlist and no travel fees.

Speech therapy that comes to you

Hi, I'm Anastasia Trajcevska, a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and member of Speech Pathology Australia. I run City Beach Speech, a mobile practice for children and families in City Beach and the surrounding western suburbs.

I see children at home, at school, or at daycare and kindy, wherever they're most settled. There's no clinic to get to and no waiting room. Sessions run Monday to Friday at home or school, and on Saturdays at home.

What happens when you get in touch

  1. Free phone consultation

Call or send a message and we'll talk through your concerns. It's a chance to ask questions before booking anything.

  2. Initial Assessment

Your first appointment is always an assessment, at home or at school. It shows me where support will help most. For very young children, I sometimes spread it over two sessions.

  3. Regular therapy sessions

Sessions are built around your child's goals and interests. Every child gets their own speech therapy book, with practice activities to take home between visits.

  4. Track Progress!

I review goals as your child moves forward, so you can see what's changing and what comes next.

No waitlist

You can book in now rather than waiting months for a first appointment.

No travel fees

Home, school and daycare visits cost the same as a standard session, with no extra charge for coming to you.

Familiar surroundings

Many children are more relaxed at home or school than in an unfamiliar room, which makes it easier to settle in and join in.

Speech therapy across Perth's western suburbs

I visit families in City Beach, Floreat, Wembley, Wembley Downs, Churchlands, Scarborough, Doubleview, Duncraig, Subiaco, Claremont, Nedlands, Swanbourne, Mount Claremont and Cottesloe. If you're nearby and not sure whether I come to you, give me a call.

Where do sessions take place?

At your home, your child's school, or their daycare or kindy. Weekday sessions can be at home or school, and Saturday sessions are at home. Many parents like home sessions because they show how to practise during everyday routines, while school visits fit therapy into the school day.

Do you charge for travel?

No. There are no travel fees for home, school or daycare visits within my service area. The price of a session is the same wherever I see your child. If you're not sure whether your suburb is covered, give me a call and I'll let you know.

Can I claim a rebate?

Yes. If you have private health insurance with extras cover, you may be able to claim part of each session, depending on your level of cover. Medicare rebates may also be available with a care plan from your GP. Your GP can tell you whether your child is eligible.

Is there a waitlist?

There's currently no waitlist, so you can book an initial assessment without a long wait. If you'd like to talk things through first, I offer a free phone consultation. It's a relaxed chat about your concerns and whether speech therapy could help your child.

How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?

Signs can include a small vocabulary for their age, being hard to understand, stuttering, trouble following instructions or frustration when trying to talk. Every child develops at their own pace, so if something's worrying you, a free phone consultation is an easy first step.
